Paradise Valley Golf Course in Fairfield is a solid play
FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Paradise Valley Golf Course is one of those layouts you can make as tough or easy as you want; it just depends on the tees you play.
There are four choices -- between 5,386 yards with no forced carries to speak of -- to 7,065 yards, with plenty of forced carries and long holes. Whatever tees you pick, though, this Robert Muir Graves/Damian Pascuzzo-designed golf course is certainly fair.
The golf course is right out in front of you -- no blind shots, no tricks, just straightforward golf and good conditioning. There are doglegs, lakes, plenty of bunkers and little boredom. Throw in a little wind, and you've got a real challenge. But because the fairways are generous and the greens aren't overly complicated, it's always a fun and fair test.
